You can restore a MongoDB Atlas database to a different location (out of place).
Before You Begin
Verify that the name of the cluster in the destination project is same as the name of the backed up cluster in the source project.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The database Overview page appears.

Go to Instances tab.

Click the instance.
The instance page appears.

On the Project groups tab, in the row for the project group that you want to restore, click the action button
, and then click Restore.The Backup content page appears.

Select the cluster, and then click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

Select Out of place, and then do the following:

From the Destination cloud account list, select the cloud account that has access to the target MongoDB Atlas project.

In the Project ID box, enter the project ID for the target MongoDB Atlas project.

Click Submit.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
