To restore an S3 compatible storage repository backup to any of the supported cloud service providers, use the restore out-of-place operation.
You can restore the backed-up objects to an existing bucket in the same S3 compatible storage system, to a different S3 compatible storage system, or to a new bucket.
You can also restore across different S3 compatible storage systems and supported cloud storage platforms, including Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and other compatible systems.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Object storage.
The Object storage page appears.

In the Object storage table, right-click the S3 compatible storage repository that you want to restore, and then click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.

In the backup content list, select the backups to restore, and then click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

From the Restore mode type list, select Out of place.

From the Cloud target list, select the cloud target.

In Destination path, type the full restore location path, or use the browse button

To add a new bucket, click the plus button (+) at the root level.
The Add new folder dialog box appears.

In Folder name, enter the name for the bucket.

Click Add.

In No of streams, type the number of streams to use for the restore operation.

To restore the ACLs, select the Restore ACLs check box.
Note
ACL restore capability may vary depending on the target S3 compatible storage system. Check with your storage provider for ACL support.

To overwrite existing files in the destination, select the Overwrite files unconditionally check box.

Click Restore.
