As a workload or application administrator, you can retire an Unified Data Vault to release its license and free up resources in your infrastructure. When you retire a vault:
- If no backup data exists: The Unified Data Vault will be completely deleted
- If backup data exists: The Unified Data Vault will be deconfigured but remain available for restore operations
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault tile.
The Unified Data Vault page appears.

Click the Unified Data Vault you want to retire. The Unified Data Vault overview page appears.

In the upper-right area of the page, click Retire.
