Running Backup Copy for a Subclient

You can run a backup copy job on a subclient. This option is available to NDMP agent subclients.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The file servers Overview page appears.

2. On the Files tab, select the NDMP file server.

3. Under Protocols, select NDMP.

   The Overview page of the server appears.

4. Go to Subclients tab, in the row of the subclient you want to run a backup for, click the action button , then click Run backup copy.

   The Run on-demand backup copy dialog box appears.

5. Click Yes.

   A message appears that says the job is successfully created with the job ID.
