Updating a Client

You can update the client properties for a NAS client by using the Command Line Interface.

Procedure

Run the qlogin command to log on to the CommServe computer.
Download the update_client_template.xml file and save it on the computer from where the command will be executed.
On the command line, go to software_installation_directory/Base and type the following command:
```
 
qoperation execute -af update_client_template.xml -EnableContentIndexing false -clientName client_name
```
where client_name is the NAS client name.

The properties for the NAS client change, as you specified in the XML file.
Run the qlogout command to log off the CommServe computer.
