If you don't want to use the Microsoft login information to authorize the Azure app, you can add Azure apps for Teams using the custom configuration option.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.
The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

On the Apps tab, click the app.
The Overview page of the app appears.

On the Configuration tab, in the Teams connection settings area, click Add azure app.
The Add Azure App tool appears.

Select Custom configuration (Advanced), and then click Next.
If you did not manually register the Azure app with Azure AD, you can use the custom configuration toolkit, which automates the registration process.

In the Azure app area,

To add an existing credential, select the credential from the list.

To add a new credential, click Create new
.The Add credential tool appears. The Account type, Vendor type, Authentication Type, Credential Vault, and Environment fields will be auto-populated.
Provide the below details and then click Save.

Credential name: Provide a unique name for the credential.
For example: CompanyName_Teams_APP1.

Application ID: Enter the Azure application ID.

Tenant ID: Enter the Azure tenant ID.

Application secret: Enter the Azure application secret.

Show endpoints: Click the toggle to edit the Authentication endpoint, Storage endpoint, and Resource Management endpoint.

Description: Enter the description for the credentials.

Important
A Conditional Access Policy must be enabled for the selected or newly created Azure app. Without it, you won’t be able to add or create an Azure app. For more information, see Create a Conditional Access Policy for Teams Azure Apps.

To use Microsoft Paid Export APIs to back up personal chats, group chats, meeting chats, and Channel messages, move the Enable this app to use paid Export APIs toggle key to the right.

Verify the requirements listed, and then select each of the following check boxes:

The Azure app is authorized from the Azure portal with all the required permissions.

The redirect URI of the Azure app is set to https://mNNN.metallic.io/commandcenter/processAzureAuthToken.do

The user account that is used to acquire the delegated access token for the Azure app will be added as a member of the teams that will be backed up. This is required for the backup process to access the data of each team.

Click Next.
The Summary tab appears

Click Close.
