Viewing the Deduplication DB Disk Space Utilization Report

You can access the Deduplication DB Disk Space Utilization report in two ways, depending on whether you want to view information for all storage pools or for a specific storage pool.

When to Use Each View

  • Use the organization-level view to compare disk space utilization across multiple storage pools and perform high-level capacity planning.
  • Use the storage pool–level view to investigate disk space usage issues, monitor free space, and perform targeted troubleshooting for a specific storage pool.

Before You Begin

You must have Report management permission to view the report.

Viewing the Report for All Storage Pools

Use this option to view deduplication database disk space utilization across the entire organization.

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > Reports.

    The Reports page appears. 2. On the Reports page, move to the Storage category. 3. Click Deduplication DB Disk Space Utilization.

The report opens and displays disk space usage trends, storage pool summaries, and detailed deduplication database information for all storage pools. You can use the filters at the top of the report to refine the results by CommCell, Company, Storage, or Deduplication DB.

Viewing the Report for a Specific Storage Pool

Use this option to view deduplication database disk space utilization for a single storage pool.

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Storage.
  2. Select the required storage pool.
  3. Click the Reports tab.
  4. Select Deduplication DB Disk Space Utilization.

The report opens with data scoped to the selected storage pool, allowing you to analyze disk usage trends, available capacity, and deduplication database details specific to that storage pool.
