You can convert any storage policy to a plan, even if it is already associated with CommCell entities such as subclients or backup sets.
Note
There are no longer any restrictions based on associations. Storage policies associated with existing plans, region-based data protection, laptop clients, or Edge Drive clients can also be converted to plans.
This conversion simplifies plan adoption and supports more consistent storage policy management.
