Complete the Databases Guided Setup for Google Cloud Bigtable

The Databases guided setup guides you through creating a backup plan and adding a Google Cloud Bigtable instance.

1. Go to the Databases Guided Setup

   • From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Explore > Service catalog.

     The Welcome page appears.

   • On the Databases tile, click Configure.

   • Select Databases running in the cloud (PaaS), select Google Cloud Platform, and then select Bigtable.

   OR

   • On the Protect tab, click the Databases tile.

     The Overview page appears.

2. Create a Backup Plan for Google Cloud Bigtable

   If you already have a backup plan that you can use, you can skip this step.

   To create a backup plan, you must have the Plan Creator Role assigned to your user account.

3. Add an instance and a cloud account.
