If you do not want to back up your laptop or computer, you can deactivate Edge Monitor on it.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Laptops.
The Laptops page appears.

For the laptop or computer that you want to deactivate, in the Actions column, click the action button
, and then click Deactivate. The Confirm deactivate dialog box appears.

Click Yes.
Caution
The data retention settings are different for laptops that are manually deactivated. Data is available for restore for 90 days for manually deactivated or uninstalled laptops.
Result
The laptop or computer is not backed up anymore. To enable backups, you must activate the laptop or computer again.
