Considerations

Commvault first attempts to back up a report with its semantic model. If that fails, it backs up the report as a live connection report. You can restore a live connection report only if the associated semantic model is available in the source environment.

(*) Microsoft API limitations apply to Power BI (.pbix) files larger than 10 GB and 50 GB.

If the service user doesn't have access to a workspace, Commvault automatically adds the user as a workspace administrator to access the data for backup.
