If you convert a Linux-based VMware virtual machine to an Oracle VM, you may need to complete additional steps.
Procedure
If there are additional disks that are mounted and have an entry in the file system table (fstab), you must edit the entries to "xvdb" using the Oracle VM console.
For example, if an additional disk has been added, /dev/sdb1, do one of the following:
Comment the entry and then add it back as /dev/xvdb1
Edit the entry and change /dev/sdb1 to /dev/xvdb1
