Filters in the Job Summary on the Web Console

You can use report filters to control the information that appears in the All Jobs chart and the Summary table. For more information about the All Jobs chart and Summary table, see Job Summary Report: All Jobs by Job Status.

To filter on any of these options, make your selections and then click Generate. Filter settings are described in the following sections.

Clients and Client Groups

Allows you to select the client computers and/or client computer groups that appear in the report. Select All or individual clients/client groups to view the information in both the pie chart and tables.

Agents

Allows you to select the agents that appear in the report. Select All or individual agents to view the related information in both the pie chart and tables. Only those agents types that are installed on the CommCell appear in this section.

MediaAgents

Allows you to select the MediaAgents that appear in the report. Select All or individual MediaAgents to view the related information in both the pie chart and tables.

Job Types

Allows you to select the types of data protection jobs to display in the report. Aged jobs are not included in this report. Job types are listed in the table below.

Filter

Description

Full

Includes full backup operations in the report.

Incremental

Includes incremental and SQL transaction log backup operations in the report.

Differential

Includes differential backup operations in the report.

Synthetic Full

dIncludes synthetic full backup operations in the report.

Job Status

Allows you to select the types of Job Status to display in the report. Job status types are listed in the table below.

Filter

Description

All

Includes all backup operations in the report.

Completed

Includes operations that completed in the report.

Failed

Includes operations that failed to complete in the report.

Killed

Includes operations that were killed by a user in the report.

Active

Includes operations that are currently active in the Job Controller.

Delayed

Includes operations that are delayed, including pending, waiting, and queued jobs in the Job Controller.

Completed with Errors

Includes operations that completed with errors in the report.

Completed with Warnings

Includes operations that completed with warnings in the report.

No Run

dIncludes operations that were not run. For example, jobs are marked No Run when another job is running for the same subclient,  job activity was disabled, or the job schedule was disabled.

Time Frame

Use this section to specify the time ranges for the report.

Jobs that meet the following criteria will be included in the report:  jobs that started and/or ended within the specified time period, jobs that were started within the specified time period and that are still active, and jobs that were active during the specified time period.

Filter

Description

Last

Allows you to determine which jobs should be included in the report based on a "Last" time period, including hours, days, weeks, or months. For example, you can set the report to display data for the last 24 hours or the last 3 days.

Custom

dAllows you to select a specific time range from one date and time to another date and time in the Select Time Range boxes.

Advanced

Allows you to include additional data in the report data, such as reference copy jobs or deconfigured subclients, which are excluded from the report by default.

Include Deconfigured Subclients

Adds deconfigured subclients to all calculations.

Include Backup Activity Disabled Subclients

Adds subclients with disabled backup activity to all calculations.

Include Aged Jobs

Adds aged jobs to all calculations.

Include Media Deleted Jobs

Adds media deleted jobs to all calculations

Include Backup Copy/Catalog Snapshot Jobs

Adds backup copy and catalog snapshot jobs to all calculations.

Include Reference Copy Jobs

dAdds reference copy jobs to all calculations.
