This report allows you to specify the Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) for your environment, and then view the Actual Recovery Point (RPA) and Actual Recovery Time (RTA) for each client.
Number of Clients Met RPO
This chart displays the number and percentage of clients that met the RPO setting configured in the report, based on backup operation times.
Number of Clients Met RTO
This chart displays the number and percentage of client computers that met the RTO setting that you configured in the report, based on backup operation times and restore operation times.
Client Summary
This table displays information about the RPO and RTO for each client computer.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Data Source | The CommCell environment that the client computer is in. |
Client | The client computer that the report is for. |
RPO (dd:hh:mm) | The amount of time you configured in the (dd:hh:mm) setting that represents the RPO for your environment. RPO is the maximum amount of time that your organization allows data to be lost after a service disruption. |
Actual RPO (dd:hh:mm) | The amount of time since the most recent backup job. This value is derived from the earliest start time of the most recent backup job for each subclient. |
Met RPO | An indication of whether the RPO was met for the client computer. A green dot indicates that RPO was met. A red dot indicates that RPO was not met. |
RTO (dd:hh:mm) | The amount of time configured in the (dd:hh:mm) setting that represents the RTO for your environment. RTO is the maximum amount of time that your organization allows restoring data to take after a service disruption. The time taken to restore Snapshot backups is 0. |
Actual RTO (dd:hh:mm) | An estimate of the amount of time that restoring the client computer will take. This value is derived from the total application size and the estimated throughput for recovery operations. |
Met RTO | An indication of whether RTO was met for the client computer. A green dot indicates that RTO was met. A red dot indicates that RTO was not met. |
Client Size (GB) | The amount of data on the client computer. |
Plan Name | The plan that is associated with the data. |
Subclient Details
This table displays information about the RPO and RTO for each subclient, as well as the retention settings.
Column | Description |
---|---|
CommCell | The CommCell environment that the subclient is in. |
Client | The client computer that the subclient is part of. |
Client Type | An indication of whether the client computer is a physical server or a virtual server. |
Agent | The type of Agent that manages data for the subclient. |
Instance | The instance that the subclient is part of. |
Backup Set | The backup set that the subclient is part of. |
Subclient | The subclient that the report is for. |
App Size (GB) | The amount of data that is backed up for the subclient. |
Last Backup Job ID | The ID of the most recent backup job. |
Operation Type | An indication of whether the operation was a backup job or a live sync job. |
Last Backup Start | The start time of the most recent backup job. |
Actual RPO (dd:hh:mm) | Th amount of time since the most recent backup job. This value is derived from the earliest start time of the most recent backup job on the subclient. |
Met RPO | An indication of whether the RPO was met for the subclient. A green dot indicates that RPO was met. A red dot indicates that RPO was not met. |
Actual RTO (dd:hh:mm) | An estimate of the amount of time that restoring the subclient will take. This value is derived from the total application size and the estimated throughput for recovery operations. |
Met RTO | An indication of whether the RTO was met for the subclient. A green dot indicates that RTO was met. A red dot indicates that RTO was not met. |
Restore Throughput (GB/Hr) | The throughput rate for restoring the subclient. |
Client RPO | The amount of time since the most recent backup job. This value is derived from the earliest start time of the latest backup job for every subclient. |
Actual Client RPO (dd:hh:mm) | An estimate of the amount of time that restoring the client computer will take. This value is derived from the total application size and the estimated throughput for recovery operations. |
Client Met RPO | An indication of whether the RPO was met for the client computer. A green dot indicates that RPO was met. A red dot indicates that RPO was not met. |
Client RTO | The amount of time that you configured in the RTO (dd:hh:mm) setting. RTO is the maximum amount of time that your organization allows restoring data to take after a service disruption. |
Actual Client RTO (dd:hh:mm) | An estimate of the amount of time that restoring the client will take. This value is derived from the total application size and the estimated throughput for recovery operations. |
