Adding IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) File Servers in the Command Center

To archive data on a an IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) file server, add the file server.


  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Archiving.

    The File Servers page appears.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add server.

    The Add server dialog box appears.

  3. Click IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS).

    The Add file server dialog box appears.

  4. In Name, enter a name for the file server.

  5. From the Access nodes list, select the access nodes to use for the file server.

  6. From the Plan list, select the archive plan to use for the file server.

  7. Click Save.
