To archive data on a UNIX file server, add the file server.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Archiving.
The File Servers page appears.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add server.
The Add server dialog box appears.

Click File server.
The Add file server dialog box appears.

On the Add new server tab, from the Server Type list, select UNIX.

In the Display name box, enter a name for the UNIX file server.

From the Host name box, enter the fully qualified name of the UNIX file server.

In the User name box, enter the UNIX user name.

In the Password box, type the password.

In the Confirm Password box, type the password again.

To use the SSH protocol for the file server, move the Use non-standard SSH port number toggle key to the right, and then enter the port number.
By default, the SSH protocol uses port number 22.

To restart the file server, toggle the Reboot if required key to the right.

From the Plan list, select the archive plan to use for the file server.

In the Archive folder path, type the path to the NFS share or to a volume on the local computer.

On the Content tab, specify the content to archive.

Click Save.
