Getting Started with GlusterFS

Verify that the environment meets the system requirements, add a file server, add a subclient,and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for GlusterFS.

   Supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and SuSE Linux operating systems only.

   GlusterFS File System (GlusterFS)* version 3.10 or higher

2. Add a file server.

3. Complete the Add a File Server for GlusterFSComplete the Guided Setup for GlusterFSAdd a File Server for GlusterFSguided setup.

4. Add a File Server for GlusterFSAdd a subclient.Add a File Server for GlusterFS

5. Perform a test backup and restore.
