User Access Levels for the Download Center

In the Download Center, there are two levels of access—end users and administrators. Both end users and administrators can view and download packages, but only administrators can add, edit, and delete packages, and manage repositories.

To allow end users and administrators to use the Download Center, create a user group for each—one for end users and one for administrators—and then assign roles with the necessary permissions to the user groups. The following table contains the CommCell permissions that are required to perform operations in the Download Center:

By default, end users can access the Download Center, view packages, and download packages.

To allow access for tenant users, set the navigation preferences from the Command Center. For more information, see Setting Navigation Preferences.

  • Edit package information

  • Manage Download Center repositories
