Adding a Credential to Credential Manager

You can add a credential to access:

  • A network drive that you want to assign as a mount path to a disk library, or

  • A cloud library

Procedure

  1. In the CommCell Console, open Credential Manager.

  2. In the Manage user credentials dialog box, click Add.

    The Create user credential dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, from the Account Type list, select the account type for the credential that you want to add.

  4. If you selected Cloud Account as the Account Type, then select the cloud vendor from the Cloud vendor type list.

  5. In the Credential name box, enter a name for the credential.

  6. Enter the access information for the account.

  7. If you are a member of the master user group, then master user group is set as owner of the new credential by default. However, if you are not a member of master user group, then you must select the owner.

  8. You can assign users and user groups who can use the credential.

  9. Click OK.
