Adding a Mailbox to the ContentStore Mailbox Subclient

Add a mailbox to the contentstore subclient.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Exchange Mailbox > ContentStore Mailbox.

  2. In the right pane, select the Mailboxes tab.

  3. Right-click within the right pane, and then click New ContentStore Mailbox.

    The New ContentStore Mailbox dialog box appears.

  4. On the General tab, configure the mailbox settings.

    1. In the Display Name box, type the mailbox name.

    2. In the SMTP Address box, type the name of the email address of the mail contact.

      For example, journal1@domain.com.

    3. To add the clients where the ContentStore Mail Server (SMTP) is configured, click Add.

      The Select Clients/Client Groups dialog box appears.

    4. In the Exclude list, select the appropriate clients, and then move them to the Include list.

    5. Click OK.

      The clients that you selected appear in the ContentStore Mail Server list.

  5. Click the Policies tab.

  6. From the Journal Policy list, select a journal policy.

  7. From the Retention Policy list, select a retention policy.

  8. Click OK.

    The new mailbox appears in the list on the Mailboxes tab.
