You must install the Exchange package and add the Exchange Database Agent on each member server using the fully qualified domain name.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.

  2. Right-click the appropriate DAG client, and then click Properties.

The Client Computer Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click Advanced.

The Advanced Client Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Member Servers tab.

  5. If your environment is restricted, use a proxy server.

    1. Select the Use Proxy for DAG Discovery check box.

    2. From the Proxy list, select the appropriate proxy client.

  6. Click Discover.

  7. If the AD Server Credentials dialog box appears, enter the Active Directory credentials, and then click OK.
