Adding Well Known Folders to Backups for Laptop Backup

You can select Well Known Folders and add it to a subclient to perform a backup. The following Well-Known Folders are available:

• Desktop

• Documents

• Music

• Pictures

  On Mac laptops, items saved in the Photos app are backed up along with the Pictures folder.

• Videos

• Home

• Office

• MigrationAssistant

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console, navigate to Policies | Subclient Policies | <Subclient Policy>.

2. Right-click the <subclient> displayed in the right pane and click Properties.

3. Click Content tab.

4. Click Browse.

5. Navigate to the desired file type .

   For example, click Documents to select all the files residing under documents.

6. Click OK.
