To configure the storage array in the Commvault software, read the following information. For details on adding an array for each supported array vendor, see Supported Storage Arrays.
Snap Vendor
Lists the available storage array vendors. In the Snap Vendor box, you can select the storage array that you want to use.
Name
Use this field to specify the identification information for the storage array.
Control Host
For arrays that use control host, use this field to specify management IP or management server that can be connected to manage the array.
User Account
Use this field to type the name of the user account that has rights to access the array.
Description
Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.

Use this option to select storage array as a file server.
Primary
Use this option to select the file server for primary storage array.

Use this option to select storage array as a OnCommand Unified Manager.
