You can use Nutanix asynchronous data replication to replicate virtual machine data from an active Nutanix VMware cluster to a passive Nutanix VMware cluster (source and destination sites). IntelliSnap backups create a primary copy of a virtual machine, then use the primary copy to create a replica copy.
You can restore virtual machines or files from the replica copy without affecting the source site or the production environment.
The backup and the resulting replica can be application consistent or crash consistent, depending on the configuration of the subclient.
