Azure Database

Use the Commvault software to back up and restore Azure databases. You can move the data on the disk in the cloud, or on-premises, to meet your compliance and storage objectives.

The solution supports the following agents:

MySQL
PostgreSQL

Note

You can back up and restore Azure databases on MariaDB 5.5.x, 10.0.x, 10.1.x, 10.2.x and 10.3.x versions.

The Commvault software uses the native database dump based backup utilities to export the Azure databases and import them to any of the following destinations:

The same Azure database instance that you backed up
A new Azure database instance
An on-premises database instance
