The Commvault plug-in provides recovery of virtual machines and files from within the vSphere Client (HTML5 version). vSphere users can manage and restore virtual machines or files using the Commvault Command Center inside the vSphere Client.
One vSphere plugin of a vCenter supports a single Commcell environment, but not a multi-Commcell environment.
The plug-in includes the following capabilities:

Register and configure the plug-in from the Commvault Command Center.

Access the Commvault plug-in in the vSphere Client through the Monitor tab or the VM details page.

Recover virtual machines or guest files and folders.
