You can use the nCOMPRESSIONSCHEME additional setting to change the compression scheme on a client. Use either the LZO compression scheme or the GZIP compression scheme. LZO is the default compression scheme.
Caution
Changing the compression scheme results in a new baseline for deduplication.
Procedure

To the client computer, add the nCOMPRESSIONSCHEME additional setting as shown in the following table.
