To use the Outlook Add-In package for Edge Attachment Store, you must configure the ObjectStore for the Outlook Add-In. Complete the following tasks:

The Web Server must have at least 3 TB of disk space allocated for the Restore Cache Directory.

If there is a firewall between the Web Server and the clients, configure the firewall so there is connectivity between the Web Server and the clients. See Configuring Network Routes.

Configure the Index Server entity in the CommCell Console.
The Index Server is required to view the data in the ObjectStore. Configure at least one Edge Drive Index Server in your CommCell environment.

Create and configure an ObjectStore outlook add-in client.
The Outlook Add-In ObjectStore client defines the Index Server and storage policy to be used for the ObjectStore. You will also assign external user groups with permissions to access the ObjectStore.
