Edge Drive is a cloud storage location, which laptop owners in your CommCell group can use to store, retrieve, and share files online.
To configure Edge Drive for users in a CommCell group, complete the following tasks:

Configure the Edge Drive Index Server.
The Index Server is required to view files in Edge Drive.

Create and Configure an Edge Drive Client
An Edge Drive client defines the particular Index Server and storage policy to use for a group of CommCell users.

Optional: Controlling File Types Allowed in Edge Drive
After adding and configuring at least one Edge Drive client, you can control the types of files that users are permitted to add to Edge Drive.
