Configuring SQL Transaction Log Backups to Run with No Full Backup

You can configure the CommCell Console to perform a transaction log backup, without first running a full backup.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, click Client Computers > client > SQL Server > instance.

2. Right-click a subclient, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties dialog box is displayed.

3. On the SQL Settings tab, select the Disable Log Consistency Check check box, and click OK.

4. To disable the backup rules, click the Backup Rules tab, and then clear the Convert check box.

5. Click OK.
