You can select the content of the subclient policy depending upon the files and folders that you want to backup from the laptop clients.

When the user installs the Installation package on a laptop, a Content Library folder is created automatically. The Content Folder library is a pre-defined library that contains frequently used files such as images, audio, video etc. You can select the required content category under the Content Library and add it to the subclient content.

    Adding the Boot Camp Drive

In the Enter new content box, type the absolute path of the boot camp drive that you want to backup. For example, type the following to back up abc.txt file in the boot camp drive:

    /Volumes/Windows/Users/Chris/Documents/abc.txt

    Use wildcards to add content

In the Enter new content box, type the path of the file or folder with wildcard characters. For example:

    *.docx

    C:\**\.doc

    D:\**\*.jpeg

    C:\temp\doc*

    C:\temp\doc*\**

NOTE: For more information about wildcards and regular expressions, see Supported Wildcards in Regular Expressions.

  7. Click Add. The content is added under Contents of Subclient.

Repeat this step if you want to add more files and/or folders for the backup.

  8. When you are finished, click OK.
