With Data Cube, you can create custom request handlers for your data sources to return data that matches criteria that you specify. You can use handlers to create a custom search application for your data sources. You can also share handlers and assign user permissions to control which users have the ability to view, edit, and execute the handler request.
You can create handlers for any native data connector, as well as for the open data source connector. You can also combine multiple handlers from different data sources using the Federated Search connector (see Combining Data Cube Connections with the Federated Search Connector).
