Enforcing Client Certificate Authentication on the Network Gateway

To enforce authentication of client certificates in a network gateway setup, you must enable client certificate authentication on the network gateway client.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers, right-click the networkgateway_client_name, and then click Properties.

  2. Click Advanced.

    The Advanced Client Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Network Route Configuration tab, and then click the Options tab.

  4. Select the Force per-client certificate based authentication option.

    A confirmation dialog box appears.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click OK to close the Advanced Client Properties dialog box.

  7. Click OK to close the Client Properties dialog box.

  8. Right-click the networkgateway_client_name, and then click All Tasks > Push Network Configuration.

  9. Click Continue, and then click OK.
