Excluding Running Jobs from a Blackout Window

You can allow running jobs to continue to run when the blackout window starts. The running jobs run uninterrupted until completion. You can set this option for all jobs or for jobs that belong to a client computer group.

All Jobs

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Console ribbon, on the Home tab, click Control Panel.

  2. Under Data, click Job Management.

    The Job Management dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, select the Allow running jobs to complete past the blackout window check box.

  4. Click OK.

Jobs for a Client Computer Group

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computer Groups > client_computer_group.

  2. Right-click the client_computer_group and then click Properties.

    The Client Group dialog box appears.

  3. On the Activity Control tab, select the Allow Jobs to Run Past Blackout Window check box.

  4. Click OK.
