For Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and newer versions of Windows operating system, by default the access time is not updated for any files and folders. If you want to archive files based on access time, perform the following:

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers >client.

Right-click File System and then click Properties.
The File System Properties dialog box appears.

Select the Track access time check box.

Click OK.

Right-click the subclient and then click Properties.
The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

On the Archiving Rules tab, in the File access time older than n Days box, type the number of days elapsed since the file was last accessed.

Click OK.
