Limiting User Logon Attempts

You can limit the number of times a user can attempt to log on. After the limit is reached, the user account is locked for the time period that you specify.

The limit applies to all Commvault Consoles, all mobile applications, and the command line interface.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click CommServe and click Properties.

  2. In the CommCell Properties dialog box, click the Additional Settings tab and click Add.

  3. In the Add Additional Settings dialog box, enter the details for the following additional settings:
