Deprecation
Outlook Add-In is deprecated for versions more recent than Outlook 2016. If you upgrade your Outlook version from 2016 to a more recent version, the Commvault Outlook Add-in will no longer work. You can continue to use Outlook Add-In with Outlook 2016.
Outlook Add-In provides your end users with the ability to view or download email messages that were archived from their mailboxes.
Note
When secured (https) recall service is selected, it is recommended to have a valid SSLcertificate on the client where Web Console is installed. For more information, see Configuring Secured Access for Web Applications.
Exchange Administrators
Install and configure Outlook Add-In.
Note
You must use QuickLook to recall non IPM.Note stubs as these stubs are not recognized by Outlook Add-In for download.
