Performing an HBase Full Backup Operation

You can perform a full backup operation of the HBase data.

A full backup is a baseline to which subsequent backup types are applied.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Big Data Apps > instance > backup_set.

2. Right-click the default subclient, and then click Backup.

   The Backup Options dialog box appears.

3. In the Backup Type section, select Full.

4. In the Job Initiation section, specify whether to run the backup now or to schedule it.

   Note

   If you selected Schedule, set up the schedule.

5. Optional: To set advanced backup options, click Advanced.

6. Click OK.
