Preventing the Commvault Software from Quiescing the XFS Filesystem

By default, when the Commvault software performs a hardware snapshot, it quiesces the XFS file system volume before it takes the snapshot.

You can prevent this behavior by setting the nDoQuiesce additional setting to 0.

Procedure

• To the SAP HANA client, add the additional setting as shown in the following table.
