Reporting Your Recovered Laptop from the Web Console

If you report your laptop missing and later recover it, you can return your laptop to its normal operating settings by marking the laptop as found. However, files that were securely erased cannot be recovered.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Web Console.

   The My Applications page appears.

2. Click My Data.

   The Computers page appears.

3. Click Settings for the laptop that you want to mark as found.

   The laptop properties page appears.

4. In the Last Seen Location section, click Mark Device Found.

5. Type the confirmation message, and then click Yes.
