Restoring Oracle Storage Data to a File System

You can restore the Oracle Storage data to a folder that resides on one of your CommCell Console clients.

Before You Begin

1. Create a subclient.

2. Perform a backup on the subclient.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Cloud Apps > instance.

2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Browse and Restore.

   The Browse and Restore Options dialog box appears.

3. Click View Content.

4. Select the data that you want to restore, and click Recover All Selected.

   The Restore Options dialog box appears.

5. On the General tab, provide the destination information:

   1. Under Restore Destination, click File System.

   2. From the Destination Client list, select the appropriate client.

   3. In the Number of Streams box, type the number of streams to use for the restore operation.

   4. In the Specify Destination Path box, type the full restore location path.

6. On the Job Initiation tab, specify whether to run the restore now or if it will be scheduled.

   Note

   If you selected Schedule, set up the schedule.

7. Click OK.
