To retain platform release media in the remote cache, you must add the bDoNotPurgeOldFR additional setting to the CommServe computer.
If this additional setting is created and set to 1, the CommServe computer will keep old platform releases in the remote cache, and support the downloading/syncing/pushing of maintenance releases (that are related to those platform releases) to the cache during a remote cache sync.
When a new platform release is installed, the old platform release/maintenance release media will be deleted from the remote cache during the next sync job.

To the CommServe computer, add the bDoNotPurgeOldFR additional setting as shown in the following table.
