Setting the Streams for Database Agents

Data Streams for backup jobs are the network streams that run from the client to the MediaAgent.

Procedure

To enable streams for Database Agents (for example MS SQL and Oracle):

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client >database_agent > instance.

2. Right-click the appropriate subclient and then click Properties.

3. In the Subclient Properties dialog box, click the Storage Device tab, specify the value in the Number of Data Backup Streams box, and then click OK.
