Console alerts can be viewed from the CommCell Console. This alert is similar to Email alerts, with the difference that a console alert is sent to the CommCell Console instead of an email. You can configure console alerts for both CommCell user groups and external domain user groups. This way you can choose the alert recipients. Console alerts are useful if you want to manage of all your alert notifications from the CommCell Console. You can view and monitor up to 200 alerts.
A console alert is visible in the CommCell Console for 7 days, and it is removed from the CommServe database after 30 days since its creation. However, you can also flag an alert if you want to retain it for a longer period.
