The SnapTest tool is used to test basic snapshot engine operations such as creating, deleting, and mounting snapshots.
Before You Begin
Virtual Server Agent (VSA) installed on the computer for SnapTest.
Note
For the VSA, if no CommServe system is installed (decoupled mode), the SnapTest tool cannot run.
Usage
You can use the Snaptest tool to:
-
Test VSA snapshot operations.
-
Create, mount, unmount, and delete snapshots for an array.
-
Test proxy computers by mounting snapshots.
Procedure
-
Navigate to <installed_directory>\Base and double-click SnapTest.exe.
-
Press Enter.
