Use this tab to define the contents of a new subclient or to change the content of an existing subclient. Databases/storage groups/database files/subsets that are included in subclient content are backed up by the subclient.
Data
Specifies whether data will be backed up for this subclient, and enables and disables options for backing up the entire database or a subset. When cleared, you must select the Backup Log Files option on the Advanced Options tab.
Backup Mode

Online Database
Back up the database when it is online.

Offline Database
Back up the database when it is offline.

Online Subset
Backup up a portion of the database (one or more tablespaces). Click the box next to the content that you want to include in the backup.
Select this option to exclude log files from the backup image. By default, the Commvault software excludes logs from the following backup types:

An offline backup of a single-partitioned database

An online or offline backup of a multi-partitioned database when you do not use the single system view (SSV)

Exclude Logs from Backup Image
This option is for online backups that include the logs (Advanced Options tab, Backup Log Files check box)
Select this option to exclude the logs from the backup image when you run a DB2 version that is 9.5 or later.

Click to refresh the contents of the database.
