Setting Up Hedvig Deployment Servers and Storage Proxies in KVM Environments

In a KVM environment, self-extracting executables are used to set up the Hedvig Deployment Server and Hedvig Storage Proxies. The script assigns IP addresses and hostnames during the extraction process.

Procedure

1. Download the KVM images from the Commvault store.

   • kvmdeploy.bin.gz

   • hedvigproxy7.bin.gz

2. Unzip the downloaded files.

3. Run the self-extracting script.
