Add an Amazon S3 object storage repository with an access key and a secret key.
Before You Begin

Ensure that a new or an existing project that you want to select is created with an inventory and the data classification plan for sensitive data governance.

The access node must have the Cloud Apps and Index Gateway packages installed.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Data Insights.
The Data Insights page appears.

Under Risk Analysis, click Sensitive data governance.
The Sensitive data governance page appears.

Under Quick start, click Object storage.
The Quick start page appears.

On the Project tab, under Select project, from the Project list, select a project.
Tip
To add a project, under Add project, enter the details required. For more information, see Creating a Project.

Click Next.
The Add object storage page appears.

On the Select object storage tab, select a server. The servers associated with system default inventory are displayed by default.
Tip

To choose a server associated with a domain, select an Active Directory identity server(s) from the Identity server list.

If you do not see a server that you want to analyze in the system default inventory, click Synchronize to sync with the CommCell environment.

To choose a server from a custom inventory that you created, select your inventory from the Inventory list on left of the page.

If you do not see the server that you want to analyze in the selected custom inventory, in the upper-right corner of the page, click Refresh inventory.

Perform a keyword search. If the server is not found, you can click Add server to add the server to the inventory. The Add server option is available only if a custom inventory is selected in the Inventory list on left of the page.

To add a server to the inventory, do the following:

In the Add object storage dialog box, click Amazon S3.
TheAdd Amazon S3 Storage dialog box appears.

In theObject storage name box, enter a name for the repository.

In theHost URL box, enter the Amazon S3 service account URL.
For example, you can enters3.amazonaws.com.

From theAuthentication list, selectAccess and secret keys.

Do one of the following:

From the Credentials dialog box, select the credentials that you are going to use.

To add credentials to the Credential Manager, click the plus button (+).
The Add Credential dialog box appears.

Enter the following information:

In the Credential name box, enter a name for the credentials.

In the Access key ID box, enter the access key ID.

In the Secret access key box, enter the secret key.

In the Description box, you can enter a description of the credentials.

From the Owner list, select the user or user group that you want to have permission to update the account information, such as the user name and password, of the credentials.

In the User/Group box, enter the users and user groups that you want to have permission to use the credentials.

Click Save.

From theAccess node list, select the access node where the Cloud Apps package is installed.

Click Save.

Click Next.

On the Configuration tab, in the Data source name box, enter a display name for the data source.

In the Directory path box, enter or browse the path to the data on the server you want to analyze.

Click Finish.
Result
A data collection job automatically starts.

After the data collection job is complete, you can start analyzing data using the overview dashboards.
