The Elasticsearch Backup workflow performs a backup of Elasticsearch indices, and stores the backup data in a repository on the Hybrid File Store.
The Elasticsearch Backup workflow creates a snapshot of the selected indices in the Elasticsearch cluster. You can take snapshots of the entire cluster, or of specific data streams, or of indices in the cluster. You must register a snapshot repository before you create snapshots.
