Backing Up a Snapshot by Using a Snapshot Rule

Applies To: Hitachi NAS (VSP One File)

Use this option to backup data from the last snapshot created by the file server under a specific rule.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to client > NDMP > defaultBackupSet.

2. In the right pane, right-click the subclient, and then click Backup.

3. Click Advanced.

4. On the NAS Options tab, in Use Snapshot Rule, enter a snapshot rule name, and then click OK.

5. Select the backup type and schedule.

6. Click OK.
